What is Viber community?
Group chat, also called Community, is a special chat of contacts where each member can freely communicate with other chat members. In other words, you can communicate not only with a single person using the messenger but with dozens of people simultaneously in a single chat.

How can you create Viber community?
- Open your messenger. Go to Chats – Groups and tap on Create Group.
- To make a group chat on Viber, choose the needed contacts. Then click Done. Note: the new contacts will appear at the top of your current window.
- After that, you can start texting in your new community. However, you can also customize it according to your personal preferences.
- To edit a name, just tap the Group at the top of your screen.
You can also download an image or picture for your chat. For these purposes, tap on Choose icon and download the picture from your smartphone’s gallery.
- To add a new member, scroll down the current menu and choose Add participants button.
- You can also moderate the number and rights of the current community members. Just swipe left a certain contact and choose any option from the list. You can either call, send texts, start a secret chat, remove or add as admin any contact from your group.
- Community chats have certain additional features. For example, feel free to change their background or notification sounds. The full list of extra functions is available in the chat’s settings.
You can delete your community anytime. Just scroll down the settings menu and tap Leave and Delete.
