How to change your profile photo using the desktop version of Viber?

First of all, make sure you’ve chosen your favorite photo or picture you would like to set up as your profile image. Then follow this guide to set it up for your app.

1. Open your Viber. Click on three dots icon at the upper-right corner.

   

2. Click on the main icon of your profile. Note: you need to click directly on your icon but not on the edit button near it.

   

3. Choose Select new in the opened window. You can find the needed button in the lower-left corner.

   

4. Choose your favorite image from your PC and press Open.

   

5. Customize the image that will be visible in your profile by moving the frame to the top, bottom, right or left. Click Done to set up the picture.

   

6. If you don’t like the photo that you’ve already chosen, click on the trash bin icon to delete it. Then repeat the steps described above to set up another image.

   

After you press Done at the final stage of setting up the function, your photo will be updated according to your preferences.

How to change your photo on Viber using the mobile phone?

1. Open Viber on your smartphone.
2. Tap More button at the bottom of the screen and then choose the pencil icon.

   

3. Click on the camera icon in the center of the screen.

   

4. You can either make a new photo using your camera, choose the needed image from your gallery or delete the picture anytime. Choose Select new from the gallery in case you’ve already saved the needed photo.

Note: You can also use your Facebook main picture and data as your messenger’s one. For these purposes, tap on Use my Facebook details.
